Dress Code

PDC Dress Code

Premier Dance Company has an established dress code for all of our dancers for each class type. Dress code is subject to change. Please email the studio for any questions regarding dress code.

Dress Code varies by style of dance/ class. Please see below for individual classes and requirements.

Hip Hop

Dancers can wear crop tops or form fitted tops with dance shorts, capris or leggings.

Shoes: Will be decided on based on costuming (TBA) – Please wear a clean street shoe to class.

Lyrical & Contemporary

Dancers can wear leotards or fitted tank tops or crop tops with jazz shorts, capris or leggings.

Shoes: Lyrical, Capezio Pirouettes

Shoes: Contemporary, will be announced in class

Tap

Dancers can wear leotards or form fitted tanks with either shorts, fitted leggings or capris.

Shoes: Black, solid bottom lace up Tap Shoes

Creative Movement & Tap Ballet

Dancers will wear any color leotard with either black, white or pink tights.

Shoes: Ballet (leather) and Black Matte Mary Jane tap shoes

Ballet

Dancers will be required to wear a leotard (levels 2-5 will be assigned a class color) with pink tights and hair pulled into a bun.

Level 5: Black

Level 4: Burgundy

Level 3: Navy

Level 2: Lavender

Shoes: Canvas Ballet slipper

Jazz & Acro

Dancers can wear leotards or fitted tank tops or crop tops with jazz shorts, capris or leggings.

Acro: Class will be taken barefoot

Jazz Shoes: Tan/ Black Bloch “Elasta Bootie” are required for competitive teams.

For recreational classes comparable brands can also be worn.
